If I saw you now

How would it be?

My heart might beat a little faster

Mixed emotions for sure

But after a moment

a deep breath and small talk

I think the overriding feeling

would simply be happiness.

To see you.  To look

at you and talk to you

and listen to you

and in that moment

nothing else would matter.
